Valley Splash
VS is a top rate, year round swim team founded in 2000. Governed by USA Swimming, Valley Splash has had some of its very own swimmers compete in the Olympic and National levels. VS recently won the 2014 & 2015 Zone Championships D2 title for age group swimming, competing against all the teams in the south bay! In 2016, VS won the very first Summer's End Challenge swim meet!
Our swimmers are taught by a world class coaching staff in training groups based off of age, ability, and experience. Our coaches keep up to date with the most cutting edge skills from some of the best coaches all over the world. At Valley Splash, our priority is technique. We would rather a swimmer swim one lap correctly, than one hundred laps incorrectly. Last season, we broke over 50 team records, this 2016 season, we have broken nearly 80 team records!
Our team is full of swimmers at every level, from 6 year olds at their first day of swim practice to returning post-grads preparing for the US Nationals.
We practice six days per week, year-round (with two, two week breaks). We compete in one or two swim meets per month and the age group team gets to travel about twice a year for an out of city/state competition. Our National Group competes all over the country throughout the season, from Jr. Nationals in Indianapolis, to Olympic Trials in Omaha. Valley Splash also has several age group swimmers ranked in the top 16 for their age group.
